100 square metres of studio space

In the calming surrounds of nature

Field Day Studios offer analogue or digital recording with a 60 square metre live room to allow for whole band recordings.

At the heart of the studio is a 16 channel Otari 1 inch tape machine which has previously been used to record many influencial Melbourne bands.

The Control Room is a 40 square metre space that also holds areas for isolating vocals and acoustic instruments as well as an open plan lounge, kitchen and bathroom area.

You can use a house engineer, or bring your own (pre approved) engineer.

The entire studio and equipment can be accessed via the studio's M2 Mac Mini which runs Logic Pro. You can also use Protools through iLok, or bring your laptop and access the whole system.

Monitors are Adam A77X and Yamaha NS10's and the desk is a Toft ATB24.

The entire space has been set up to allow for bands to stay for a few days, to soak up the relaxed country atmosphere, write and record.
